If you walk under beltline down to the creek its easier to walk down the creek.
If not you will have to climb down the small dirt cliffs on the tree roots.
I have done many time its only about 6-10 feet down. Its really not that difficult even with a pole an tackle box... in case i recomend a back pack.
CAUTION there are tons of water snakes in this creek. but the fishing is good.
State liscens is required but I would never ever exspect any one to question you fishing down there.
